Hi there, my name is Christian Hernandez but I go by the name “Sun.” I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, and am the proud son on immigrants from El Salvador. My pronouns are he/him, and I identify as a bisexual man. I have been a therapist since 2018, and have treated a wide range of presenting issues from depression, to ptsd, to every day life challenges. I view healing from a holistic and decolonial lens. I know that each person is an individual, with their own story and background. I also understand that people are affected by the environments and systems that they are a part of, including systems of injustice. I know that my role as a therapist is not to have all the answers, but to support people in the development of their life journey. I blend my treatment with a variety of modalities from family systems, parts work, to psychodynamic views of the mind. I am a certified hypnotherapist, and have a deep understanding of the unconscious mind and behaviors. I love to support people from all ages and backgrounds, including black and indigenous people of color, the lgbtq+ community, neurodivergent folks, and more. I have experience supporting people from ages 4 to 72 years old. I am not a perfect fit for everyone, but those that do work with me have seen growth, healing, and deep understanding in their lives and in the therapeutic space
