About
I’m an Egyptian-American therapist specializing in trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care. I value collaboration, honesty, and genuineness, and I strive to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported. I work with individuals navigating parenting challenges, acrimonious divorce, co-parenting stress, communication difficulties, and the loss or confusion that often follows major life transitions. Many of my clients also struggle with anxiety, overwhelm, or low self-esteem and are seeking meaningful, lasting change. My approach is both nurturing and direct. I use gentle, thoughtful confrontation to help highlight discrepancies and distortions in thinking patterns, while supporting you in building practical tools for growth. We often begin by grounding in the present moment—developing awareness of your thoughts, emotions, and bodily responses to stress—then work toward aligning your actions with your values. I draw from trauma-informed care, CBT, mindfulness, ACT, and somatic practices to provide a holistic, individualized approach. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, clear, and confident as you move forward in a way that feels authentic and aligned.
