<p>My name is Esmeralda, and I am a native Californian. I grew up in a bilingual Spanish speaking home in Southern California with 6 siblings. I earned my Masters in Social Work from California State University Long Beach while working for Contra Costa County Children and Family Services. I was licensed as a Clinical Social Worker during my tenure as a Medical Social Worker. I am experienced in providing in-person and teletherapy to different age groups from pre-teens to seniors, utilizing primarily DBT and CBT. My specialties are childhood trauma, cultural issues, and anxiety and depressive disorders.</p>
